24/7-365. Basketball Lives Here.
It’s been three years since Gilbert Arenas played in the NBA. One of the highest paid players in NBA history, Arenas just hasn’t seemed to get his basketball career back on track after the infamous locker room incident in Washington.
If it is indeed over, it certainly didn’t end the right way and most folks have already forgot how nasty Agent Zero was in his prime.
At one point in his career, Arenas was one of the most feared offensive players in the game. Teams literally didn’t have an answer for him. At the peak of his abilities, back when he was healthy, Arenas averaged 29.3 points in 05-06 and followed it up with another stellar season averaging 28.4 points and 6.0 assists per game.
This was back when he was hitting those cold-blooded walk-away game-winners. This was also the time period where he scored a career-high 60 points on Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
This game took place on December 17th, 2006, at the time Kobe was considered by many the best player in the game. Arenas didn’t care as he truly felt that HE was the best player in the world at that point.
