This month Brandon Jennings and Stephen Curry will be entering the ninth season of their NBA careers and both guys are in a position they weren’t expected to be in when they got drafted back in 2009. Though Curry went onto have a better career than Jennings, it was the then Bucks guard who lived up to his Allen Iverson comparisons when he exploded for 55 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds against Curry’s Warriors on November 14, 2009. What made this performance so epic was that it was just Jennings seventh career game and he had the 55 through just three quarters of action. On that night if you asked someone which one of these two would go onto become a two-time NBA MVP, the answer would easily be Jennings.
