Eric Bledsoe Says The Kentucky Wildcats Would Beat The Sixers

The new look Kentucky Wildcats dominated the Kansas Jayhawks 72-40 in the Champions Classic in Indiana last night. The Wildcats made the no.5 ranked Jayhawks look weak, despite them actually being a very good basketball team. It’s going to take a perfect game to beat this team, their bigger, stronger and faster than any other team in college basketball.

As a matter of fact, the Wildcats starting five is taller than every NBA starting five. This is when the question comes up, can this team beat an NBA team? Could Calipari’s squad beat the NBA worst 0-10 Philadelphia 76ers?

Former Wildcat, Suns guard Eric Bledsoe believes they could. The Kentucky alumni says that the Sixers would only manage to win one game in a seven game series against Kentucky. Via Philly.com:

At least one prominent NBA player disagrees with this logic when it comes to the Sixers’ current crop however, as Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe said he would take Kentucky, college basketball’s top team, against the Sixers in a seven-game series.

“I’m definitely taking Kentucky,” Bledsoe told SiriusXM Radio when asked who would win in a seven-game series between the two teams. “I think Philly would get probably, maybe one game.”

Bledsoe acknowledged that the Philadelphia faithful likely wouldn’t be happy with his opinion.
