Derrick Rose Out For The Season With Torn Meniscus

Some heartbreaking news coming out of New York as Derrick Rose has suffered another season ending knee injury. Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Rose has a torn meniscus in his knee and will miss the remaining six games for the Knicks.

You have to feel for Rose. After injuries derailed his final few years in Chicago, he just wanted to prove he can play, and he did. Through 64 games this season, Rose averaged 18 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He shot a career best 47 percent from the field. The athletic burst that made him a superstar in Chicago is still very much there.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of interest he garners in July when he becomes an unrestricted free agent.
