24/7-365. Basketball Lives Here.
Coming into Thursday nights matchup against the OKC Thunder, Derrick Rose was going through a lot of heat in the media which involved potential trade rumours, more about his unproven “rift” with Jimmy Butler and just having his abilities as a basketball player doubted on.
We knew this was all premature talk as we aren’t even ten games into the 2015-16 season and knew that Rose would shake out of this sooner or later. It appears as if he did.
Still finding his timing after missing so much basketball these past few years, Rose looked fine physically as he did a great job of staying in front and cutting off Russell Westbrook. But he turned it up in the fourth quarter offensively as he scored 12 points to finish with 29 on the night.
The former MVP added 7 assists and 5 rebounds to go with the 29 points.
Notice how Derrick Rose is one of the only guys that can stay in front/cut Russell Westbrook off. The speed is there, timing will come 👌🏽

The Bulls offense looked as smooth as ever as they went through Rose. After the game Rose made it clear that he is going to be okay and reminded people that he is still getting back into it.
