Damian Lillard Replaces Blake Griffin in the All-Star Game

When Blake Griffin was announced out for the All-Star Game, we learned that Damian Lillard would be replacing him. Lillard was snubbed hard when the reserves were announced and even with Kobe Bryant out, DeMarcus Cousins got the nod before he did.

It shouldn’t have took this much, but we’re excited for Dame. He deserved this spot long ago.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard will replace injured Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin on the Western Conference All-Star team, the NBA announced Sunday.

This will be Lillard’s second All-Star Game appearance after he debuted last year. His 21.6 points per game rank 13th in the NBA while he is 15th in assists with 6.3 per game. His 311 points in the fourth quarter of games leads the league and he has made 129 3-pointers, ranking him sixth overall.
