Cory Joseph Nails Buzzer-Beating Game-Winner to Lead Canada to Bronze Medal at FIBA Americas

After suffering a devastating loss to Venezuela, Canada went to battle with Mexico in an exciting third place game in the FIBA Americas.

This was a tough day emotionally for both teams as they were just 24 hours removed from being denied a berth in the 2016 Olympics in Rio, however, they took a lot of pride in this one.

Andrew Wiggins led the way for Canada with 18 points, and Raptors guard Cory Joseph played hero hitting a clutch shot in the fourth quarter followed by this incredible step-back game-winner over two Mexico defenders at the buzzer to lead Canada to an 86-85 win stunning the host Mexican crowd.

This Canada squad can be seriously good in a couple of years.
