DeAndre Jordan is reportedly telling people close to him that he is “torn” and “unsure” about his decision to join the Dallas Mavericks and the Clippers realize that and are attempting to win him back.
Doc Rivers and Clippers owner Steve Ballmer are set to meet Jordan in Houston today and they are hopeful that he will change his mind and fly back to LA with them.

This is obviously a crazy situation, usually when a player verbally commits to a team he is off limits, but the Clippers obviously feel like it is okay to speak with the player they drafted. Via ESPN:
The Los Angeles Clippers are making significant progress in their unconventional bid to persuade DeAndre Jordan to reconsider his decision to sign with the Mavericks after Jordan verbally committed to join Dallas last week, according to league sources.
Sources said Wednesday afternoon that Jordan is increasingly “leaning” toward a return to the team that drafted him, with the Clippers indeed “optimistic” he will stay in L.A.
