Blake Griffin was the star of the night on Thursday as he dominated the Dallas Mavericks with 26 points and 10 rebounds in just 26 minutes of action leading the Clippers to a 104-88 win.
Though it was just the second game of the season on a quiet Thursday night in the NBA, there was a lot heat going into this one as this was the first matchup between DeAndre Jordan and the Mavs since he spurned them in free agency. Mark Cuban and Chandler Parsons pretty much made it clear that they don’t like the organization after what they did with DeAndre during free agency and Griffin played a key role in the whole fiasco too.
As of now, the Mavs can say whatever they want, on Thursday they didn’t look like they were on the Clips level and Griffin’s dominant performance had a lot to do with it. He was fired up.
