Blake Griffin Dominates The Lakers For 39 Points, 7 Rebounds

During the preseason Blake Griffin began showing off his extended range, his polished post game and a new attitude towards the game. Griffin has been putting in a lot of work this offseason and is looking to establish himself as one of the elite players in the league. On Friday night, Griffin put on a clinic against the Lakers scoring 39 points (hitting two 3-pointers) and grabbing 7 rebounds and leading the “visiting” Clippers to a 118-111 win.

The All-Star forward is looking scarier than ever and is clearly on a mission this season. Griffin is already being mentioned as one of favorites to win the MVP this season, if he plays like this on a consistent basis, his chances would be very high.

He is looking very comfortable shooting the long ball, his touch has improved, he is playing more controlled, he’s making plays, his overall game is much more polished and he is playing with a chip on his shoulder. Griffin is doing it all. The Lakers had no answer for Blake on Friday night, and if he continues playing this way, we don’t think a lot of teams will.
