During Game 6, Austin Rivers was busted open due to an elbow and had to leave the game. The 23-year-old returned to the game with 11 stitches and turned in a gutsy performance, nearly helping his Clippers pull off what would have been an incredible road win to tie the series.
Rivers finished with 21 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds, earning the respect of everyone in the arena and fans all over the world. Following the game, Rivers was talking about his ups and downs in the NBA so far and got very emotional when talking about how much Jamal Crawford had helped him since he arrived to Los Angeles.
It’s truly amazing to see how much of an impact Crawford generosity he is having on the younger players in the league.
