James Harden has officially become the face of adidas basketball. The best shooting guard in the NBA, Harden left the Swoosh for the Three Stripes last year and it’s looked like a perfect fit thus far.
Yesterday in Los Angeles, adidas introduced the Harden Vol. 1, The Beard’s first ever signature sneaker. Harden was involved in the entire process of creating his first sneaker and adidas even went as far as creating a shoe specifically designed for Harden’s foot and game through research and data collecting. The sneaker also features BOOST technology for cushioning and unstitched design to promote natural movement and on-court durability.
The first colorway of the Harden Vol. 1, the “Pioneer” is a celebration of Harden’s second California State high school championship which he won with Artesia High School back in 2007. The Pioneer, priced at $140, will drop on December 3 at adidas.com. Check out the photos below.
